Today will be the last post for this blog. I have decided that since the election is over, this is the best time to go ahead and move to the new site.

The new blog will contain some national news, but will mainly focus on local politics, specifically on a county level, with some state level news as well. As of today, if my math is correct, there are 428 days left to pick up qualifying petitions for the 2010 county general election. Within the next 100-200 days, I will seek the counsel of my family and other trusted advisers, to determine exactly which office I will seek in 2010. During that time, I will be posting news and opinions on local issues, so that Wilson County residents can get a feel for where I stand, and how I will serve them.
